*I do not know how far I can go or how long I can stick to, but so far, I want to keep writing everyday.
Today's topic is about travelling. A short paragraph from VICE reminds me of a stranger when I was in Palau.
He called himself as a free man and dreamt going to every country in the world. Actually by the time I met him, he had already set foot on over 100 countries. he said he would go any place as long as it is a country.
I was excited to dream big with him then I suddenly felt bored. If a man travels around the world just for a simple reason to travel, without any other plans or preparations. All he got were visas on the passport to show off. Then what is the, meaning to travel, even go around the world. Stay one day at one country, or stay one month. Acting as a passer-by, or trying to get around. There are huge difference among them.
Forgive me as a curious and frank person, he did not feel that surprised when I asked the question. 'Now I have changed,' he said,' I will make a list of missions to complete in every country.' And his mission in Palau was diving in the Blue corner and play basketball with local children.
He had the chance to show me the rest of the mission list, but he did not do it. Until now, I did not know whether he said was true. But he still hinted me to set own mission while travelling. It has nothing to do with the result, but more about the process and preparations, which can deepen the feeling and experience.
That is more interesting.
Similarly to 'travel mission' idea, some travel companies like KLOOK, Airbnb, come out some choices to its users, which brings more unique and local experience to the trip.
Maybe there are surprises among them.
